French Silk Pie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 9" baked pie shell
  • 1 cup butter softened 
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • Whipped Cream
  • 4 square baking chocolates, melted and cooled
  • 4 eggs 
  • 1 tsp vanilla

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cream the butter and sugar
  2. Add chocolate and vanilla
  3. Beat with electric mixer at low speed until well blended
  4. Add eggs
  5. Beat for 10 minutes
  6. Pour into baked pie shell and chill for several hours
  7. Top with whipped cream if desired
